Journal of Environment and Interdisciplinary Development is a double-blind peer-reviewed quarterly  and open-access publication, that publishes of original research papers. Environment and Interdisciplinary Development follows of Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and complies with the highest ethical standards by ethical laws. Environment and Interdisciplinary Development is licensed under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution License 4.0 International (CC- By 4.0). Licensees may copy, distribute, display, and make derivative works only if they cite the original published articles in this journal.

 

Terms and conditions for manuscript submission

To facilitate the process of reviewing and publishing articles, it is necessary for researchers who want to publish their scientific articles in this journal, to pay attention to the following points, otherwise, the article will not be subjected to review and evaluation and also the paper will just once be returned to the author for structural revisions.

  •  Article submission is only possible through the journal website, and the publication refuses the acceptance of any articles manually or by e-mail. 
  •  Articles submitted to this journal for review and publication, must not have previously been published in other domestic and foreign journals or submitted to other domestic or foreign journals for review at the same time.
  •  The publication is free to reject, accept, and edit the article.
  • The sender of the article must be the responsible author of the article and all the necessary correspondences and follow-ups regarding the article will be done with the responsible author, obviously any other correspondences other than the responsible author's will be disregarded.
  • The order of the authors' names is based on the order in which the author's information is registered during the article's submission on the journal website. The responsible author must enter the names of all authors correctly and completely on the publication site.
  • Submitted articles must be prepared by the article writing guide, otherwise the article will be returned to the author and will not be included in the evaluation process.
  •  After acceptance, the article will be placed in the print queue (Articles In Press).
  •  Informing the responsible author is done through the publication site and e-mail (the responsible author is required to refer to both for information and follow-up).
  • Completion and submission of the commitment form, conflict of interest, and the author's information is mandatory (See Journal Forms).

Instructions for Authors

Type of article:

In this journal, research articles documenting the results of basic and applied research in the field of environment and related sciences are accepted.

These articles should be scientific research articles and include new research findings with a volume of 4000-6000 words.

 
Article structure:

The article must have a standard structure and contain the title, authors' names, authors' addresses, Farsi abstract, keywords, introduction, main text (materials and methods, results, discussion), acknowledgments (if necessary, list of references and abstract The length of the article is a maximum of 15 pages printed in the journal (about 6000 words), including pictures, tables, and appendices.

The title of the article should be relatively short (maximum 15 words) and reflect all the main features of the research. Names and surnames, organizational affiliation, and e-mail of the authors should be mentioned under the title of the article (the author responsible for the article should be mentioned with a star and his complete postal address and mobile phone number).

Abstract:

The Persian extended abstract should be concise and contain sections on background and purpose, cases and methods, results, and discussion. The Persian abstract should be at least 500 words and at most 600 words. It should be noted that there should be a logical proportion between the parts of the extended Persian abstract. Refrain from referring to sources and forms in the abstract.

Keywords:

At least 4 and at most 6 keywords that are preferably not in the title of the article.

Main text:

The body of the article should be prepared as a single column. Line spacing should be normal everywhere (1.5 lines) and the distance of the text from the top, bottom, and sides should be 3 cm. Half distance must be observed. The units used are in the metric system. If another unit is used, its metric equivalent should be mentioned.

Figures and tables: all figures, graphs, and photos should be presented with the title of the figure. Images and charts must be original and of high quality, and their output should be Tiff or jpg with a CMYK color combination. Mentioning the source of things taken from other sources is mandatory. The way to compile the tables from right to left and their text in Farsi is in Word software. Since the contents of the magazine are arranged in 8.5 cm (double column) and 18 cm (single column) columns, it is necessary to present the figures and tables with a maximum width of 18 (larger figures) or 8.5 cm (smaller figures) become It is necessary to send the original figures and diagrams in terms of print quality in Photoshop with a resolution of 600.

References:

The citation method in the Journal of Environment and Transsectoral Development is based on the Harvard format.

All resources should be provided in English. The method of writing references in the text will be as follows: at the end of the sentence, it is put in parentheses in English (for all Persian and Latin sources). References that have two authors, the names of both authors, and references that have more than two authors, the first person's name is used first, followed by "et al.," (in italics) and the date.

English Extended Abstract:

The extended English abstract which is at the end of the article and has the names of the authors, organizational affiliation, and email address must be a complete translation of the Persian abstract and must be at least 500 and at most 600 words. The different parts of the English abstract include Title, Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results, Discussion, and Keywords. Also, there should be a logical proportion between the parts of the extended English abstract. At the end of the English abstract, 4 to 6 keywords are given, which preferably should not be included in the title of the article.
